SO first things first, some history. this car of mine originally would not start. on my quest to figure out the cause i did the following.
      – replaced fuel pressure regulator as it was leaking and easy to get too.
      – cleaned the throttle body as it as rather dirty (removed it completely from car)
-replaced the ignition control modal (with a used one) on the coil packs as when it was cold sometimes it would not fire two cylinders

as it turned out it was a bad timing chain and i replaced it.

now the car starts and runs but you can smell its running rich and its hard to start.

scan tool says that the upstream o2 is 960 ish mV and the down is 950 mV
short fuel trim is -18% as well as the long term.
map says 11 if i remember right.
plugs are black when i take them out

any ideas would be appreciated thanks for looking

        Lets start with this…..
According to the numbers submitted, both STFT & LTFT are pulling fuel away to correct a rich condition.
Proof of this is the odor of fuel and sooted spark plugs.
Have you checked for leaking injectors?

I haven’t look at the injectors yet. all the spark plugs look the same so it would be affecting all the injectors at the same time? i checked fuel pressure with the key off and it didn’t leak down. with the engine running the fuel pressure is about 50 psi this seams high to me but i read that is normal for theise cars idk

Ok…you didn’t mention testing the fuel pressure.
Assuming the injectors are working correctly.
Is there a specific procedure involved with the removal and cleaning of the throttle body?
Some vehicles may require a re-calibration.
