2004 w211 e320cdi engine cooling fan

Hi, I don’t know if anyone has had this problem before but when I start my engine from cold the cooling fan comes straight on and engine does not get to temperature its only getting to around 50 does anyone know what could course this problem and how to fix it

Do you have a check engine light or anything displayed?
Could be either fan control module or engine coolant sensor.
