        Quoted From boregard9:

I have found that the cause of my battery drain is the 40 amp abs fuse in the engine compartment..Removing the fuse eliminates the battery drain, but when I start the car, I cannot put it in drive, due to the lockout of the other modules. How can I disable the ABS?

Disconnect the power plug to the ABS module?

If the abs light is on. the battery will drain. Is the abs light on. If it is the system is sensing
a problem. the problem needs to be addressed.C8-)

Sounds like you have a short in that circut. I would locate it and repair it.

Finding the fuse is only the FIRST part of the diagnosis, the next step is to find out what’s on that fuse and in your case there may be more than just the ABS. You might look for the diagram for that circuit on this site to see what other components are involved besides the ABS if any and if you find some then eliminate them one at a time by unplugging the component to see if the draw is still there, if it goes away then you’ve found your problem, if not move to the next part of the circuit.

Here’s the video I did on parasitic draw testing
