I hope there isn’t the same controversy with this one that there was with the headlight installation. If there is, so be it. I love these lights. They work great and really help visibility in bad weather. I think they also look pretty cool. What are your thoughts?
Just curious what kind of laws do you have over in the states with fog lights? or your state seeing they might all be different

Here in australia we can only ever use fog lights when vision is impaired by such things as fog/smoke and thats it otherwise you get a fine
As for Ohio where I live, there are very few laws about auxiliary lighting. The only law we have that I know of is that you need to turn your headlamps on if you turn your wipers on. Also in some construction zones.
WOW. You earned your money on this one. You really
did some custom work. Enjoy the fogs you earned it. :)
Yea but the result is worth it. I love having these lights when I need them.

            Hi Eric!
Following your fog light installation video, I decided to try it out on my car. The only problem I have is that the wiring kit I bought doesn’t have an inline fuse. I know it’s not very hard to wire it in by myself, but I don’t know what fuse (amperage) I need?

            Thank you!

I used to drive to work with my parking lights on. This would be early morning but not dark. Someone saw me and said it was illegal. So, I called the Highway Patrol (state police) and yes it was illegal and very bad. So I called the local police. They said they’d give me a ticket if I drove at night with my lights off – otherwise, they said, we couldn’t care less. I kept driving with my parking light on.

In the US there’s a ton of laws concerning what you can’t do to an automobile. But, unless you live in a state with strict inspection they are ignored. Gearheads are civil disobedients.

I think you should be good with a 10amp. Put it in the supply line to the relay.
