      Is the car cold when you put it in gear?_x000D_
      Is the engine RPM’s above 1,000 when you put it in gear?_x000D_
      It could just be a mount._x000D_
      As for the low traction light you would need to scan that module for trouble codes.

        I would definitely start by figuring out the traction light.

          yes, it happens when cold._x000D_
          _x000D_
          il also look at my tach next time this happens._x000D_
          _x000D_
          sometimes it doesnt jerk at all when put into drive._x000D_
          _x000D_
          what could be the cause if this only happens when the car is cold?

              I would look into why the traction light is on as that system is tied into the brakes as well as the throttle control system.

                i noticed when i put the car in reverse than into drive it doestnt jerk at all, and shifts great._x000D_

                im going to take it in and get the low trac light checked._x000D_
