      Hi All~
I have a P1093 (fuel pressure low during power enhancement) in a duramax diesel LB7 motor. Has anyone worked on a duramax and experienced this before? Any idea of common causes? I am leaning towards the fuel pressure regular…but I haven’t tested it yet.

      Thanks in advance,

      Mike

Have you changed the fuel filter lately? If not I would start there before anything else.

I’d start with the filter also.

As you can see below this is not an easy code to diagnose.

Thanks….I was thinking that as well…it isn’t my car…i replaced all 8 injectors about a year ago, and it sat for 18 months before I got my hands on it with the fuel system exposed…the owner drives it a lot as well

You know, I have worked on many Duramaxes, but my old boss had one when I worked as a construction fleet manager. And if he did not change the fuel filter on time the system would first reduce power and than eventually fail to start till the filter had been changed to prevent engine damage.

Seems like the fuel filter would be a great place to start based on the posts here. I would agree with that.

Keep us posted on your progress.
