      it won’t move on it’s own in all forward gears until you force it to move buy giving gas reverse in fine is the trans going bad? none of the brakes are sticking

        Check that the shifter cable is attached at the transmission and does
        move. I know you have reverse. Fluid is full and fluid in good condition?
        You may need a trans shop to do a pressure reading on the trans. more in this
        link.

          it going into in to gear but it just don’t move on it own like it something holding it back i just put a new filter and fluid in it din’t make any differences it has no take off power and when it was scanned last it and 1-2 shift solenoid code pop up

            Then it does sound like a fluid/pressure problem. if the solenoids are not working
            your line pressure will be low and thats why the vehicle won’t move. I would check
            the solenoids.

              If a code for the transmission solenoids came up I’d start your search there. If the solenoids are not operating properly it can cause shifting problems with the transmission. More information in the article College man posted for you.

                will a wrong or week alternator cause problems ? the battery light keeps flashing the right alternator is a 125 amp i was wondering if someone put the cheaper 105 amp on ? how do you check this ? it has new battery
