is the battery light being on to tell you it charging or what it has new battery and alternator passed at auto zone and fixing to replace 1-2 shift solenoid in transmission

If you decide to do the shift solenoids, you might as well change the lock up, epc and mps solenoids. You’ll be looking right at them when you go into the transmission to replace the shift solenoids. This job is somewhat labor intensive, so you might as well replace them while you’re in there. Here is an Ebay link showing one of theses kits for the 4t65e transmission. It’s not that expensive. Definitely recommend AC Delco replacement parts. Best of luck with it. Let us know how it turns out.
