While changing wheel bearing, checking brakes, and then finishing with an oil change I noticed that there is a small line coming from the top of the Water Pump up into a bleeder value(about 4 inches up the line is the bleeder valve). Where it connects to the water pump, with 1 bolt, is leaking. Best guess is a gasket or o-ring. I’m trying to find out what it is called exactly to find the right part to replace it with.
All help would be wonderful.

I have a 99 monte carlo which is a W body with the 3.1L , virtually the same as the 3.4L. I just did the intake gaskets which are certain failures on those due to the plastic gaskets they put in them. enough of the rant. I just finally got around to replacing mine about two months ago and I am certain that is an O-ring under the heater core bypass tube at the water pump side. The bypass should come up to bleeder valve and have a continued metal tube around front of car side of engine to the driver side with rubber hoses that connect to intake, throttle body and eventually heater core. Hope this helps. If I did not understand your question right, let me know and if you need anymore findings I have the factory service manuals on the 99 W bodies so let me know. Not sure if a regal is a W body but the late 90’s and early 2000’s had a lot of similarities. These cars are tedious to work on but not hard.
