Ok so i recently like last week bought a new alternator. Now my wife was driving to work and the car died on her wouldt crank up or anything. immediatly susspected the battery it already had conncetion issues due to being a pos used came with car battery. However i took it to autozone wich i trust for simple diagnostics. The battery read at 84% charge. he said it could be my alternator. I tested my lights and highbeams work fine. so not the issue. I belive its my starter but im not sure and dont have the tools to take it out right away. i was wondering if any of you had any experience or knowledge on my vehicle or the issue. i watched all the videos about no crank no start but didnt find a solution. really need help. thx everyone also im new to the forum and love it already.

A bad alternator will cause the battery to go dead. But
a bad alternator will not cause the starter not to crank as
long as the battery is good. check your fuses. Check for
12 volts at the starer. Try putting the car in neutral and

thanks college guy. i know that about the alternator it happend to me last week had to replace it. Finally narrowed it down to the starter.
Alright guys im a couple days late But i Fixed the starter. at first it didnt work because of really bad connection to my battery on one post. but its pretty and should be smooth sailing from on out. Also about to do an oil change in a few mins so shell be purrin like a bosch.
