Ok. when I turn the steering left or right from stop to stop there is a rhythmic perfectly timed bump, bump, bump. The steering want to fight me ever so slightly at the end of a full turn. I observed the reservoir and it is slightly bubbling. there is no leak observed at the reservoir or the lines leading to the pump, the pump itself, or the gearbox. the boot covering the drivers side of the rack closest to the gear box is partially damp on the bottom but not dripping. the reservoir is not low on fluid. there is however a gurgling noise that can be barely heard from inside the car and heard well while the engine is running and I am under the car near the rack.
I also noted that the passengers side cv boot is slinging grease and needs replacing. this looks fairly new and doesn’t click as I ride down the road or in sharp turns. Could this be causing the bump?
Thanks Friends,
