2003 kia sedona part question

Hello,

I am trying to figure out if i am missing a hose on my overflow tank. It seems like there should be one but i am unsure and don’t wanna throw one on if it may cause a problem

Specifically if there is supposed to have a hose going from the cap to the bottom of the overflow tank

according to this diagram the hose goes from the radiator to the recovery tank.
I cant tell if its to the top or bottom of the tank.
