2003 Accord V6 had to replace a rear bearing and noticed a rear brake issue. Driver side probably not making any contact. Neither caliper could be compressed. I used a large screw driver etc. (i have replaced the back brakes on my other 2003 Accord with no problems.) I also make sure i removed the brake fluid reservoir cap prior to trying to compress. I thought it would be odd that both back calipers would be bad. Any advice would be great. Car always seemed to stop smoothly so I was surprised that there was a brake issue. Imagine front brakes doing all of the work. 160,000 miles on car and I believe the calipers had been replaced by the previous owner.

If you can’t compress the calipers then they are seized.
        replace the calipers.

You are saying that you are trying to compress the caliper piston by using a screwdriver and then turning the piston clockwise? After trying this method both pistons are frozen in the bore? I have a tool that works with a 3/8 in drive rachet. The tool looks like a small cube and each face has a pattern to match different piston styles. You can find these at Harbor Freight, Auto Zone to name a few. Perhaps try this instead?

Thanks bought new calipers and went on without a hitch. Thanks for the posts. New parts are so much easier to put on than the old broken ones. HaHa.
