      🙁 please help swap 2003 ram 4.7 with 2002 dakota 4.7 and we are not getting a spark at the plugs, changed oil pan and intake nothing what did we do wrong, thanks

        well for not having any spark at the plugs, im not sure why you would change the oil pan and intake. they have nothing to do with spark.. If your not getting any spark at the plugs, test for spark from the spark plug wires, if you dont have a tester, put a long screw driver in the end of the wire and hold it against something metal, ( leave the end plugged into the distrubitor) turn the key. If you get no spark, check and make sure you have the disty plugged in right, if everything turns out that its hooked up proper, then chances are you need a new disty.

            I thought the 4.7 engine didn’t have a distributor. If it doesn’t then check the crankshaft position sensor.

            If it does then it could be the distributor, rotor, or ignition module.

                @celticbhoy thank you, you are correct i forgot about that. the 4.7 has individual coils on each spark plug. You can either check each coil or like Celtic said and check the CPS
