It could be a starter problem. More information on how to test a starter here.

if you leave the key on and jump 12v to the brown sol. wire starter will turn over all day motor will not start because it has lost ign signal. if you turn the switch completely off and then turn to run position then jump wire from 12V starter will work till motor starts and eveything is ok. Until you try to start wirh ign switch
Spark plugs fixed this unit. use the proper plug for this trk and check all coils, on start the were sending a voltage spike at the PCM shutting down the 5 volt signal from pcm. Hours of testing but sorry to say spark plugs fixed it but make you test coils they could do the same thing

That’s a new one on me. Never heard of anything like that. I can’t argue with results however. Thanks for the update and for using the ETCG forum.
