Hey guys, I was just wondering what’s a effective way to possibly diagnose a exhaust leak. My Car is lowered so It tends to bottom out pretty often. I have Pacesetter long tubes and a custom X Pipe. So Is there any methods to fiqure out if I have one or not?

I’m pretty sure it might be a leak. But then again these mod motors are pretty noisy. Its only on the driver side however. Its more noticeable on cold starts. After it warms up its almost non existant. So anybody got some input?

Once metal heats and expands, it does a good job of closing caps where gaps shouldn’t be in the first place.

I would do a visual inspection of all the exhaust if you have access to a lift or a heated garage and good jack stands.

You could also use a rag to cover one exhaust pipe and see if you can see those exhaust gasses escaping somewhere else. Do not do this for a prolonged period of time though C8-)

My suggestion is you get an Eaton TVS blower, and a small pulley. That will fix everything C8-)

I’m a GM guy, but Ford was right on when they did the Cobras and Lightnings (the new 5.0 is great too). Not too many cars where you can throw on a few bolt ons and get 100 RWHP gain.

I want the new TVS Blower from VMP. But I love my Ported Eaton. Its pushing over 500+ HP/Tq to the wheels. 2.76 Upper pulley + Port. Its a absolute beast indeed. GM makes some nice stuff, I’ve been having a Corvette bug for awhile….But, I have plans for it. E85 + 4Lb lower pulley.

That should net me over 550 HP and 575 TQ. Is what I’m aiming for. My full mod list is in my profile if you want to read it! Anyways, Thanks for your advice guys. I’m going to have to put it up and check the bolts, See if they are tight.
