      I have a cracked head and am going to replace the heads and pretty much do a top end rebuild BUT!!

      upgrade the cam to a Brian tooley stage 2 truck cam, with ls7 lifters and beehive BTR springs, new oil pump, sprockets with an performance timing chain, and a new water pump, and 160 degree thermostat and a tune of course

        Woohooo! Race truck build….. While your that far down why not go ahead and put a set of Pistons in? Unless money is a little tight. Either way she should be stout for a family hauler!

          when we get the heads off im gonna inspect the cylinder walls and see whats going on in there, but i didnt wanna pull the engine lol and my pockets arent as deep as i would like them
