      6 Speed Manual Transmission

My car will intermittently become very sluggish which I’ve narrowed down to the improper function of the IVT solenoids. However the solenoids act fine when there’s enough oil in the pan, I’m not sure where it’s going but it’s going at a pretty quick rate. I’ve needed to top it off at least 3-4 in the past 1500 miles. The engine is a a replacement with about 86k miles on it. If anyone has any ideas on how to seal the leak I’m all ears.

If there are no signs of oil on the ground.
First jack up the vehicle and properly support it with jack stands and give a good visual under the car.
Looking for any fresh wet oil areas.
Might suggest that you do an engine cleaning then look for any external leaks then proceed from there.
Also check the fluid levels in the radiator and transmission to see if oil is some how migrating to either.

If your losing as much oil as you state and there are no signs of it burning out from the exhaust.
A leak should be relatively easy to spot.

If no leaks , my next thought is , is it burning it ?

Compression test , both wet & dry .

I agree , look for oil in the coolant . Do not know if it could get into the tranny ?

          God bless
