      I am replacing the lower intake plenum gasket . The one that was on is metal . I dont see anything wrong with it but some forums say change it some say if its good dont have to . Some say you can use hasket sealer some say dont have to but if you do use LOW VOC gasket sealer. What may I ask do you say I should do .? I just put new plugs in it . Thanks

        Clean perfectly, yet carefully. Copper sealant both sides. :whistle:

          thank you for your post my friend . I will get the copper permatex and use it as you suggest. I feel better now.

            My recommendation is to get a new factory gasket and replace it.
            The gasket is there to do the sealing not put sealant all over it. :S

              College man you make a good point . You just made me think of something else. If the NEW GASKET NEEDED SEALER, wouldn’t Felpro have instructions with the gasket stating “You need to smear sealant on me before use.?” College man , I have a new gasket and your suggestion makes the most sense . Thank You.
