I’m not posting a question, just a quick fix for folks possibly overthinking things.

          Quoted From Beefy:

I’m not posting a question, just a quick fix for folks possibly overthinking things. My friend’s boyfriend brought me his 2002 Civic, and wasn’t getting hot heat at idle, but it was good while the car was cruising. My first thought was air in the cooling system. I bled the cooling system using a spill-free funnel, and topped it off, and the heat worked fantastic at all speeds. Hopefully this is a shortcut for some guys/gals looking too hard for a simple fix. I did a search for ‘bleeding cooling’ on Eric’s search tab, found exactly the video I was looking for, and it reinforced exactly what I was sure was the problem. This works for pretty much all makes and models. Cheers.

I probably post the link to that particular video more than any other video. Thanks for posting the fix here on the forum but next time you might consider posting it on the ‘Repair Central’ forum as it is for fixes just like this one. Thanks again for posting and using the ETCG forum.
