2002 Ford Taurus catalytic converter removal

Does anyone know how to remove the catalytic converter on a 2002 Ford Taurus? It is a 3.0 OHV and I am trying to remove the upper cat that links both manifolds together. I have removed the harmonic balancer and still no luck.
