      Hello,
My name is Eddie. This is my first post. And I was hoping someone could help me out. I would truly appreciate it.
I have a 02 Ford Focus zx5 and I can now not get it to start. And when it was running it was running really bad with no power. I have replaced alot of parts and put a lot of money into this car in the last 2 years so I pretty much have to make it last.
I even had the car at a reputable shop and did exactly what they said they would do to the car if they repaired it. Now it will not start.
I could go on for days about all that has been replaced.
The car has timing, good compression, Fuel and spark. I am honestly at a lost. And do not know what to do.
If someone could try to help me or suggest anything I would be more then appreciative!
Thank you so much in advance for your time and help. And allowing me to post on here.
      Thank you very much!

      Ed

Have you scanned the car for any codes?

Yes, there were none. I tried again and it said they were none pending or stored.
          Thank you for your time.

your in the right section. have you tested for spark? try spaying some stater fluid
in the intake to see if it fires. confirm spark first. see if this helps.

Thanks so much for trying to help me! Sorry I didn’t get right back. I suffer from severe migraines. And between the migraines and this car I’ve been having a tuff time!
I have spark. If I spray starting fluid in the throttle body it just pops back through the intake when I try to start it.

If it pops back It sounds like timing. All timing marks like up?

Timing Belt is only a few months old. But the timing marks line up perfectly with cam bar and crank pin. That has been double checked.

I have tried everything I can think of. Is the security light blinking when you try to start it?

What is your location? Maybe someone could look at it with you?

Because it backfired, and the compression looks good, and you verified the cam timing, then I would make sure the spark plug wires are routed to the coil pack correctly? I think if the crank trigger was giving you problems, the computer would throw a code?

Also, make sure you have good engine and body grounds, and good battery cables.

Hello, thanks so much for your reply and help.
I live in New Castle Delaware by the Christiana Mall and Cabelas. Zip Code is 19720.
If someone could help me out it would mean more then they think it will. I have no problem paying for your help and time.

The wires are routed to the coil properly.

The grounds I believe are good. From what I researched and inspected.
The battery cables are new and are Ford OEM.

I would truly appreciate anyone’s time and help.
                                  Thanks you so much!

My name is Ed and my number is 302-252-8796 if anyone could help me out.
