The escape dont have that mount like in your video. I checked every exhaust mount, frame mount, etc. I even checked that motor mount as in your video. The escape has the same setup. this weekend I will get a new strut mount and hopefully

I know how frustrating that can be, it once took me 3 days to find a noise on a car.

And yes, this one is confusing for sure. I had my nephew drive slow and I held the fender with the hood open and when you “tap” the gas and rock the car slow, you can feel the “clunk” it in the fender. Also when Im tur

Sometimes you can confirm sway bar links by disconnecting them, unfortunately

I did exactly that 2 weeks ago ! Kept being told sway bar bushings. I had to cut off the old ones, disconnected the bar, and drove it around. Same noise. Spent $26 replacing the links and that wasn’t the noise. Heres a kicker now ….. I went this

I hope this works. Here is a small movie. All the noise is the front end. Right in the start where you here the dog bark is where im tapping on the gas and letting off real quick at about 3 mph._x000D_

Did it all. Jacked up truck, let wheels hang, turned wheels, put it in gear, no noise. Stopped, started, all with wheels hanging. That’s what makes this so hard to pin down. It only does it with the weight of the car on the ground, stopping and pulling aw

A dry lower control arm bushing can make a sound like yours. I’ve seen this happen on a few different vehicles. Sometimes it pops, other times it bangs. I never would’ve thought a dry bushing would make such a noise, but it will. What I did to stop it was

Wiggled the exhaust, shook everything. Ball Joint is new. I replaced the control arm 4 weeks ago. The ball joint comes pressed in with the control arm. When I bought this truck from the dealer 3 years ago used. It had new control arms, and new sway

Oh, and I did spray everything under the car trying to see if it made a difference so I can pin point what it is. Nothing ! 2 years ago that’s how I found out how my l/s tie rod end was bad. Pulled back the boot and hit it with oil…
