      hello i have a 2001 Pontiac grand am se . im having a no start issue where when it does not start the sucirty light stays on . it will turn over but not fire . last night i turned the kye on for 11 minuets then off for 10 seconds 3 times and it started . but now the security light stays on and car wont start . thanks for any help.

        Does that have the VATS system on it where the chip is visible on the side of the key.

            Might check this video out. I haven’t watched it myself but it looks like it may have bearing of interest to you. Tread with caution.
