AC stopped blowing cold air today. My dad just swapped out the radiator and 2 days later, the ac stopped blowing cold air. It seems that the clutch is not engaging either…

      Any suggestions?

First you need to get some pressure gauges on it to see if it has refrigerant in it. The pressure for R134 should be withing a few lbs of the air temp before starting the engine.

Was it blowing REALLY cold before, or was it kind of under performing? If it was working great a couple days ago, and suddenly isn’t working at all, I would expect that something happened while installing the radiator.

With having just put a new radiator in, I would say check the lines / fittings near the radiator for oily residue, which is a sign of leakage, and check the wiring. There are a couple of sensors in the lines with wiring attached to them, it is possible one got knocked loose during the radiator replacement.

If it was working a few days ago, but not really getting all THAT cold, then I would say that it has had a leak for some time, and just finally got to the point where there wasn’t enough pressure for the system to turn on.
