2001 ford f150 oil pressure switch.. Removal seems simple. Remove elect. connetion with a 90 deg. pliers (long handle). Deep wall socket, univesal swivel, and a long extention. Once removed there is no room to reach in to hand start the new swtich. 1) is there something I can remove to gain access (I’m not seeing anything easy) 2) Afraid to start it with the socket/ extention combo for fear of cross threading.. If it does get cross threaded. Can that be easily fixed. Any thoughts?? Thank you in advance..

Cross threaded is never easy to fix. All I can suggest, and I have done this, is to stand there an hour if you have to, until you figure out how to do it. Maybe there is a special tool.
