Hello all,
Hope all is well.. 2001 ford explorer sport rear hatch will not open, The window does but not the rear hatch.. What have some of you done in this situation? only thing i can see is you have to try to get the inside panel off from inside to gain access, And high risk of busting the panel…

Not really what im looking for
But, I guess i will have to see how panel will come off with the door shut..

I’ve run into problems like this with doors before. It often requires removing the inner panel as you describe. Yes, things can get broken in the process.
