Any codes stored?
I’d start with the basics – check fuel pressure, vacuum leaks, look for misfires, etc.
Was the fuel filter also changed when the pump was replaced?A+ on fuel pressure and filter if that checks out.Then vacuum. then electrical. good luck and keep us posted. C8-)

It depends on the brand of the fuel pump too and I see this a lot with Airtex fuel pumps.Airtex fuel pumps are nothing but flat out junk and I will not install one.Delphi and AC Delco are the best fuel pumps for GMs only.

I personally know the people at airtex perhaps I can give them info about the issues you’re having.
That said I’m with the group, we need more info. Any check engine lights on? Have you replaced anything or had anyone look at the car up to now? More info please.
