Make sure the mounting area for the alternator is nice and clean, as this is the ground for the alternator. It’s not uncommon to get a garbage reman’d alternator, so you may want to swap it for another unit.

I would say test for high resistance(voltage drop) in the generator output cable, please keep in mind that I am new, Eric and the other more knowledgeable members will be here soon and can offer you better advice.

Thanks for the reply. I was going to run a voltage drop test throughout the circuit but ran out of sunlight to work. Will be performing the test tomorrow when I get up in the morning. Im hoping it leads me closer to the source of the problem, so far im pretty stumped.

Yeah that is strange, there will be some more folks chime in soon, please post what you find out, I would really like to see what you come up with. Good Luck.

Will update with any new information I can come up with. It just seems strange to me that charging voltage is actually below what normal battery voltage should be, and way to low to be considered proper charging voltage (should be around 14-15v).

I agree, I would do a voltage drop test on the positive and negative sides of the alternator

+1 on doing the voltage drop test on the feed and ground side of the alternator.

You also need to be checking the alternator fuse/fuseable link if that vehicle has one as well as checking the field circuit going to the alternator.

                      Is your drive belt at

I’ve run into plenty of bad reman alternators but do the voltage drop test as suggested, I cover this in this video also.
