It may not be the most exciting repair, but I feel it does contain some useful tips for dealing with exhaust work. This is also the 2nd video release featuring the new cameras and editing software. So far your feedback on that has been positive.

Yea, I’m very happy with the images the new camera produces.
I don’t know who made it be I believe it was a stainless exhaust.

A true Professional. 🙂November 29, 2014 at 10:09 pm #647071Erik please do not be angry but last time it seems to me that was vanished sense of humor.
In “of late” videos you do not make any jokes and I miss that so much.
I remember for your karate kicks, ambiguous allusion ( I have small length and etc.), you facial expressions and more a more.
I do not want to be a critic for you job, videos are still amazing but I looking for some MORE ERIC PERSONALITY. I love humor and it is very important for me.
Please, do not be just pure professionally-handy mechanician. That humor, sympathy and jokes – this make you different from others, and we all love this on you.BTW. Thanks for great video Eric.
BTW2. Sorry for my english.Your loyal fan.

It’s easy to be critical (no offense taken BTW). What’s funny to me about your statement to THIS particular video is that you seem to have missed the VTEC joke at the beginning.
Perception is a very difficult thing to overcome.

January 12, 2017 at 8:40 pm #874822As usual, great video and very informative. I do like your candor, I hardly get thru a day in my garage where something unexpected doesn’t happen. Do you recommend the use of high temp RTV to seal the donut gasket on mufflers? Any particular thought for or against the practice?
Thanks again Eric.January 13, 2017 at 3:11 pm #874853
As usual, great video and very informative. Thanks again Eric.
No I don’t. The graphite gaskets are designed to move. Goop won’t allow that. Always let the gasket do the work unless the manufacturer calls for other sealant.
