I am replacing the wheel bearing and ball joints on a 2001 honda civic. I think I have the torque specs, but the axle nut seems high to me. Can somebody confirm these for me?

      thanks!

      What I have is:
2 bolts on strut to knucle 71 ft lbs, I have also seen 116, i like 116 for this personally and the way it feels, that is what I torqued these to when I put in the new struts 2 years ago.
castle nut on ball joint 43 to 51 ft lbs to line up hole
caliper bolts to 80 ft lbs
      axle bolt 134 ft lbs?

Yes that is correct. My book shows 134 ft/lb for axle nut.

          Thanks a ton!

I had the new wheel bearings pressed in, while I was in there, I did the ball joints, one was bad and the other was worse..

It drives so much better now. Just need to fix a motor mount in the back of the engine and this car will be baller again.

Any tips on changing out the rear motor mount on this 01 civic?
