the problem is during the summer wen we turn the ac on the ac come out
freezing cold on passenger side but hot on the driver side and i was
told it may be a motor or damper malfunction for her vents down by the
blower wheel and motor. i was wondering if i was told correctly and wat
the easiest way is to fix it. air still comes out it is just hot

Well, obviously the AC is working if it comes out cold one side. It probably is a problem with the vent control system. I’m not very familiar with that particular car, so the repair depends on how simple or complex the system is. Labor might be a little expensive because it can be a pain to get under the dash.

I would definitely say vent control system too. I also do not know the car, but those systems use several different ways of moving the blower motor door to redirect the air flow. (Vacuum, cable operated, solenoids) You would have to do a lot of digging around underneath the dashboard to isolate the problem. The part is probably not too expensive, but it will more than likely be a pain in the ass to get to.

              +1 on the above posts.

You would need to find some system diagrams of the HVAC system and see how the vents are controlled.

thats wat i figured and i know it is a solenoid or electric servo/motor because she has an electric hvac control in dash its no knobs just buttons to move air to defroster fett and in the middle or middle and feet together so i know ist a solenoids of some sort
