Need some help with this issue. Started off with a po300 misfire code so I checked and replaced spark plugs, wires, distributor, cap, rotor button. Also had to remove upper intake plentim for valvecover gasket. Put everyfhing back together now truck will just crank. I have good spark and fuel from the pump to the injectors checked for pulse also good there. Double checked my work and still no start any idea what could cause this no start?

everything worked before. check that the cap and rotor are on correctly. see if the rotor is touching the contact point
inside the cap. check that you have the coil wire going to the right location on the cap. how did you check spark and
fuel? Heres a video to help in a crank no start condition. when you took the intake off did you use new gaskets?

Do you have the firing order correct?

          +1 with the above post.

            college man,

I checked for spark using a hei spark tester just hooked that into each wire then cranked to check for spark on every cylinder, as for the intake double checked all connections everything is plugged in and connected. The rotor is contacting all points on the cap, I checked for fuel at the fuel filter and there is a high pressure line that feeds the fuel rail checked for fuel there and it is good. When i put back on the gasket it was a reusable one that was in good shape so i just used that again. Oh there is a distributor only on this truck with no coil wire on the cap just 6 wires thats it . If you can think of anything else please post on here thanks I did also double checked the firing order as well.

there are two grounds that attach to the intake. make sure they are attached clean and tight. f11 and f12 are the grounds.
check this link out. there are fuses involved check them also.C8-)

If I read correctly, you have spark and fuel, and truck ran before you replaced cap, rotor, distributor, spark plugs and wires. And now you have crank, but no start, I would first pull one of the spark plug to see what the condition is it in? If it fouled with fuel. you probably stab the distributor wrong. keep us posted.

I would recommend going back over all of your work in particular the wires to make sure they are all routed correctly. The #1 suspect is the work you just did since it was running before you did the work, don’t worry we’ve all been there. I would recommend you go back and check to make sure you have everything hooked up correctly and that your ignition wires are routed correctly.
