Alright y’all, I’m back lol. Same ‘00 maxima, 150 some odd miles, 3.0 5 speed. Pulled the anti theft fuse during a parasitic draw test, and once I put it all back together the security was tripped. Took it to Nissan, they said the key wouldn’t program. I’m not about to pay them $150 for diag plus parts and reprogram, so I guess my questions are:
1. How do I go about diagnosing this
and
2. Which is more likely; bad key or bad immobilizer?TIA
