So this is a cranking no start correct?
You have to check for the basics first, Fuel (Use a proper fuel pressure gauge) and spark.
I know it sounds dumb but, are you sure it has enough good gas in it?
You can also try spraying starting fluid into the throttle body first if you don’t have a fuel pressure gauge handy and see if it fires.
Good luck and please keep us posted.T)

          +1

We need some more info (missing spark? missing fuel?, etc.) before we can help diagnose the problem.

Hey man. Welcome to the forums. To go along with the questions, how many miles on the car? What engine? I’ll link you a couple basic videos that should give you an idea where to start your diagnosis.

            Basic no start diagnostics:

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBUYs539cy4

            Basic fuel pressure test:

            http://www.youtube.com/results?search_q … 2.9.2l13l0

Also, was a check engine light present before the no start? You should check for codes regardless.

Also also, check all of your fuses just for kicks. This should probably be done first.

Good luck man, keep us posted.

I didn’t find any TSB’s while doing a quick search on this problem so the next step would be to find out what’s missing when it’s not starting, spark or fuel, you can use the Basic No Start video that Beefy posted a link to for some ideas on how to check to see what’s missing when it’s not starting. Also if you have a CEL on please pull and post what code you have.

if you put the car in any gear the car won’t move? check your tranny fluid level. smell it to see if its burnt. C8-)

yup, first thing to check is your fluid.

Yea that sounds like a transmission issue, +1 on checking the fluid level and condition for starters.
