      ok folks, just spent most of the day replacing parking brake shoes, in my piece of Sh–
      I did this because it does not hold the vehicle at 1200 rpms as required for inspection
      The shoes looked just as good as the new one, there is no oil on them but I did clean everything
      with brake clean I had tried before to adjust them as per the manual..and now them seem to be worse.
      WTF….Any one else had this issue, I mean parking broake is not rocket sience ..needless to say I am not a happy camper , dirty yes but not happy what a way to spend memorial day

      by the way rotors and pads are new a year ago

        see if this helps. You should be able to pull the rear
        plugs and adjust the adjuster up to cause a slight drag
        when the wheel is turned.

          Yes, proper adjustment is key to the parking brake working properly. In the above posted article there is a video showing how I adjust rear brakes. I recommend you follow it and then recheck your parking brake operation.
