Get codes pulled and report them back here. That’s gonna help everybody move forward much faster. With or without the ABS light on, there will probably be codes stored in history.
DUH that the issue no one around my but the dealer can read the codes and they want $60.00 to read them. i thought this site was useful prior knowledge but i just it it just a smart ass that can answer
You show up expecting answers and the only thing you tell us is a light comes on sometimes. That being said, the only way to move forward is you communicate something more useful in terms of symptoms to the people on this website or you go and find a way to provide some codes. That’s the only way anybody can help you. Given your attitude, you’re going to the dealer to pay 60 bucks to read codes. Good luck with that.
obviously no one here is jeep orientated as the abs resets automatically on start up and abs is not stored in in the jeeps computer,. so the only way to read it is when it comes on before the next restart. with it being random even you can see it can not be read unless you have a reader connected when it happens or can get to a reader without a vehicle shutdown or restart. thank you mopar , jeep got screwed when you bought into jeep. obviously no one here has worked on 2000 grand cherokees.
