I have a 2000 Hyundai elantra that has been showing some odd behavior of late. I drive 500 miles a week for work. As I cruise down the freeway, the engine will buck. It usually happens at constant freeway speeds. It is about to earn 200,000 miles. I am wondering if the fuel pump is going. if so, I am wondering how to test it.
Second question, I am working on a 1989 Ford Escort. It cranks but doesn’t turn over. It sat for 4 years and was running okay. I have replaced spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor, coil, and ignition module. I have been able to confirm fuel but no spark. Any ideas?
thanks for your help.
