      Are ball joints in a 2000 Honda Odyssey replacable? The repair manual (Haynes) claims that the ball joints are not replacable separately and the entire control arm must be replaced, yet the parts store has them separately. If so, can they be pressed in and out using a C clamp ball joint press?

        You can replace those ball joints, they press out just like any other ball joint. It is a pretty straight forward procedure and I think Eric may even have a walkthrough.

          Honestly I think you’re better off replacing the lower control arms as the manual suggests. Pressing the ball joints out and back in with that style of control arm often doesn’t end well in my experience especially with aftermarket parts.
