You need to figure out what’s missing, spark or fuel.

        No start diagnostics:

Did you cross your wires after changing the spark plugs? Did the car starts before the plugs change? Check your manual to make sure the cables are in the right place. What do you mean by won’t turn on? Is it totally dead? It cranks but won’t start running? Or it click and not turn over? Please be specific.
          Thanks.

All the wires are right in there place. And yes, the car did turn on before the spark plug change. But after I was done listening to music I tried turning the car on and it didn’t turn on so I had jumped the battery with my truck and all it did was crank. And after the spark plug change it still does the same. It cranks but does not start. Could it be my distributor?

It is better to diagnose than to just guess.

No problem man. Most of those diagnostics can be down with cheap tools. Screwdrivers, test lights, and even DVOM’s that would fit your needs can all be acquired at harbor freight for under $20 total if yer hurtin for cash like the rest of us.

Is there anyway you can post a picture? I’m really trying to help man, don’t get me wrong. Which connector was it? What do the wires connect to I guess is what I’m asking.

Those wires connect to the ignition coil and the igniter.

Well that may explain why you had those issues after washing the engine bay.

I would recommend repairing the wiring using a rosin core solder and heat shrink.

Did you try using a test light on the negative side of the coil to see if it will flash? That will let you know if your trigger device is working or not.

                              Good luck.

did you pull any cap wires or coil wire while doing the work? check to see if you have spark from the coil to the cap.

You said you were cleaning the car. by chance were you doing any cleaning in the engine compartment. using any type of degreaser ? I am assuming you did not have this ” no start ” condition prior to cleaning the car. also assuming you ran the battery down while listening to music. when you tried to jump the car you didn’t notice any arching from the battery or cables ( jumper or otherwise )did you ?
