I posted on here about my civic a few weeks ago about the TCC locking up, today it locked the front wheels up doing like 40 mph it down shifted SEVERELY hard i am swapping my tranny tomorrow i have one day to do it if you have any tips that will or may help PLEASE feel free to post them…. Do i have to undo the exhaust to pull the tranny from underneath?

Yes you will have to drop the exhaust to get the transmission out. Be careful with the hoses that run behind the engine when you are dropping it because they will get caught and pull off of the engine or crack the plastic parts. Good luck and I hope this helps.
So i replaced my trans it only took a day but now Ive ran into another issue i know this will not sound right but hey were all human. i put the trans in my car from a DX not an EX if you know any way around the input speed shaft sensor problems please let me know i have been told i have to replace it which i may but if any of you gear heads read this and know what i am talking about please hmu because id really love to have a loop hole around this…..i have an input shaft speed sensor code and no TTC input and its because there is one more tooth one this trannys ring gear on the inside…than the orignal tranny
