hi i have a 2000 Honda civic ex that i was wondering if anyone had any idea of what may be wrong. this only happens at light throttle in 4th gear overdrive the car has an automatic trany and in overdrive all of a sudden it jerks once and right back to normal and this only happens once in a while i checked ttc solenoid and its within speck i do think that it could be the torque converter i was just checking on here to see if anyone else has experienced this before. after watching the video about converters i learned a lot more about the lock up clutch and i think this could be the problem the trany has no slips and once in a while when coming to a stop it dose feel like it is sticking but my car has never stalled when it did this any info please do share i would like as much info before i go ahead and pull the tranny and change it weather it could be the friction disks or for sure the converter

yup i sure did and when i bought the car it didn’t have any tranny fluid in it the cooler lines were loose so tightened them and i put Honda fluid in it but i also added a quart of Lucas tranny conditioner too so that why i changed it yesterday all over on here i noticed if you use anything other than Honda it can effect the shifting of a Honda trans and the magnet in the plug didn’t really seem to be overloaded with metal so im hoping that’s what was wrong. i will keep yous posted one other thing i watched the clip about pulling codes without a scan tool and i cant seem to find that 2 pin plug any advise i just wanted to see if it had a code for the trany.
