I would give the whole front steering and suspension a complete inspection. Check for broken engine and transmission mounts. Check engine cradle mounts for broken bolts or worn mounting bushings.
I had one of those cars with a similar problem a while ago but i forget what the repair was. If i remember what it was i’ll let you know.
