My heat only blows out my front vents no matter the position of the control knob… this almost got me in some crap tonight as the windshield fogged almost instantly for some reason and lost all vision at 55 in some major traffic.. i really need help with this ill me ripping the dash out here very soon… but a vaccum diagram for hvac Under the dash would be so amazing.. i cant find one anywhere.. also a list of some parts to just get and replace while im there.. besides a heater core (already doing that)..but just a tad more info here when i turn the knob i hear the vaccum change so im gonna rule that out unless otherwise told not too and every once and awhile i get a hiss from what seems to be under the passenger side of dash.. it is inside the cab ive gotten out and could not hear it while getting a thumbs up from a buddy in the cab every time it hissed so any suggestions? Id really REALLY apricate any help.. it will save a man you dont know from hurting himself.. or worse someone else.. Thanks :S :dry: 🙁

I’m not 100% familiar with dodges but most vacuum hvac systems will default to defrost for this reason if there is a lack of vacuum. Further, it would have to have vacuum to hold the vent door open. It’s likely an issue with the switch, if not you may have a broken blend door.
I asume that means ripping apart the actual hvac box? Either way thank you for the reply.. hopfuly someone can shed abit more light on this.. also any suggestions to buying parts.. because once the dash is out autozone trips are outta the question with thay being my only vehical lol .. Thanks
