you would have to replace the timing belt and
try the car. with the belt broken theres nothing
to move the cam. I don’t know if its a non interference
or interference motor? If the valves did get bent its
not the end of the world. pull the head and have it
fixed or find a used head.

install the timing belt and get the engine compression test to see if any cylinder losses compression.

            CRV engines are interference engines

Yeah, do a compression and a leak down test. But first you’ll need a belt. If you are deciding whether or not to junk the car buy a cheap belt. If you plan on driving the car a lot more, get a good aftermarket or oem belt, cam/crank seals, and a water pump. Inspect the tensioner too.

You could do a leak down without the timing belt, but you’ll need one for the compression test. If the car runs fine there is probably no damage.

I know quite a few people that have gotten lucky with broken timing belts and the engine being okay. Make sure to change them every 100k miles or so.

I always handle that situation by first installing a new belt and pump and then I try and start it up, if it runs good it’s a win, if not the head needs to come off but either way you would need a new belt anyway so it’s not a big loss to just go ahead and put one on.
