2000 Corolla hesitates to shift

2000 Corolla automatic started experiencing an issue with delayed shifts and a little vibration at idle.

Mechanic said engine mounts look like they’re wearing out. Would that be the issue for this or something else?

I could see the vibration with the motor mounts but
not the delayed shifts. Have you checked/changed the
trans fluid?
