I have watched those videos and I find that their are some things that are not being told and or shown in them . I was hoping that maybe someone on this sight could give me some first hand info about the job . thanks for the reply .

What is it you are unsure of?? The video by (m ph) on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRkAa-whRi0 shows how to replace the all the solenoids with the exception of I think it was called the TCS (I might be wrong) – and he references where that one is in the video. The hard part appears to be gaining acess to remove the cover. The solenoid replacement seems to be a little intricate but if you manage to get inside the cover I think you can manage to replace the solenoids. I’m not sure why no one is chiming in on this as I’m sure someone here has done it. I have an ’09 Impala with 126K of mostly highway on it and I have watched the videos just because I expect that someday I will be doing some involved work on mine.

Ya I try to do all my own repairs and on some things my homework to . what I don’t see in the video, is their a seal on the axle shaft that needs to be replaced after it’s pulled out and do you need to remove the top motor torque mounts or is their enough give to lower and raise the motor as needed to get to the side pan cover on the trans. ? also i heard mention the exhaust pipe needs to be unhooked so it don’t break and radiator hose’s . I’m just trying to make sure i don’t miss something that i need to know . thank you for reply .
