i have an 2000 acura TL that has a p0135 going off. I have checked the 02 sensor heater check for continuity. 02 sensor checks out good. on wiring harness side of the plug. I also checked the heater circuit at the connecting plug with the two blk wires. found positive on one but did not get a ground signal at all with the ignition on and car cold. so I traced wire all the way back to the PCM. has good continuity. but upon checking the primary 02 heater control pin which is a connector c terminal 1 BLK/WHT wire. it does not seem to be sending out a battery voltage like it suppose to. not sure if it’s a positive activated signal or negative. but checked both. has no signal at all coming out of that pin? So is there something else that i need to check first that activates the O2 heater control or is the ecu/pcm itself not working? thanks in advance for any help.

You need to check with the engine running. Also you need to connect to the circuit and then start the engine and check because the ECM will turn it off after a couple of seconds if it sees a problem to protect itself. Looking at the Wiring diagram the Blake/yellow wire is power and the black/white wire is computer controlled ground on the engine harness side. if you have a test light, connect it between these two wires and then start the car and see if it lights up if it does then the circuit is good and you have a bad O2 sensor.
