2000 Acura TL Labored crank and rough idle

Acura TL 3.2ltr labored crank and then a rough idle until the gas is mashed for a couple seconds
checked battery and found it in good state
6 months on plugs
ran a can of sea foam through it last oil change
oil is in good shape
throttle body was cleaned recently

leaning towards a idle air control valve?
it was 9pm when the issue happened on a friends car and had to go rescue her
got in it and tried to crank
car had a good strong crank
hooked up some jumper cables and it fired up
auto zone checked the battery and they said it was fine
