Will a transmission from a 1997 suburban 4l60e wotk?

If so what mods would be needed?

As long as same engine size. plug and play.

Hard to say. You also need to be sure the wiring harness and ECU will run it. It’s more than just a matter of bolting it up. Not saying it can’t be done, but I believe it’s a little more involved than just installing it. Although I will say that the above poster probably has more experience than myself with this sort of thing.

You also have to make sure the gear ratio is the same because if not it could affect the computers input from the transmission.
